Windows 2000 Pro and Server will support Appletalk over ethernet, but XP (Both Home and Pro versions) do not. Windows Server 2003 will support Appletalk, but I doubt that you have this.

If one machine on your net is running Win2K, it can act as a print server for any of the machines running XP, for instance.
