I'm running 10.2.8 on one drive and 9.1 on another drive. I would like
to upgrade to 10.3 (or maybe 10.4) because the newer versions of iMovie and
Garage Band won't run on 10.2. I use Garage Band sometimes to record my
students at school since ProTools and ProSoniq don't work on OS10. The new
version of Garage Band is supposed to have some nice fixes in it like
allowing midi imports and saving as aiff files. The new version of iMovie
is supposed to have some nice fixes too. But I'm probably going to FCP
soon, so maybe that won't matter.
As far as avoiding OS 9 like the plague, I don't feel that way. I have
my ProTools and ProSoniq and some other programs that are VERY good programs
that will never be ported to OS 10.
