Hi Again.
Many thanks to all the kind suggestions. I put back the original
processor and not only was there no chime but the monitor did not
come on at all. Hopefully, today I will get around to trying some of
the other things. Could it have anything to do with the jumper
settings on the drive? I thought for sure it would start up from the
external scci when no other drives are connected. I shall keep trying
and will post when I get it working.
