I checked in server setting and saw the Connection setting:
and it showed SSL/TL and I know I did not change it. All I did
was change it to NONE and the program as far as getting mail
now works again. Sorry about the long post above.
I had the same thing happen this morning with AT&T. This afternoon it
works fine with SSL/TLS. Apparently AT&T was having a problem.
