I use Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 and also have Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional.
Did you try reinstalling Reader? It would make sense, if SM was
installed after Reader was, that the latter wouldn't be integrated.

No, I haven't, but will. Never thought about that. Do you have any
fixes for the crashes <g>?
