Ray: First of all, Vista and Windows 7 are the same. You seem to know what is going on in XP, so all you need to know is the waty Windows has changed the directory names for Vista/7; C:\Documents and Settings\RAY\Application Data\ becomes C:\Users\RAY\AppData\Roaming\ and C:\Documents and Settings\RAY\Local Settings\Application Data\ becomes C:\Users\RAY\AppData\Local\ Although this change can be confusing, I think most would agree that the new Vista/7 method is both more concise and more descriptive. The way that SM1 and SM2 (and any well-written application) use these directories is the same in all OS's. I am not 100% sure, but I do not think that SM1 uses the "local appdata" folder, but I think SM2 does. -- David Wilkinson _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
