Yes, the box is checked to Enable java script for the browser.
I just checked again and the java script seems to be working fine now,
at least on the newegg page I posted. So what is going on here? I did
shut down my browser for a while, but I'm sure I also did that when I
was troubleshooting this. I also noticed an issue on the Gigabyte home
page as well as newegg, which is what led me to post something since I
figured it was not an issue with newegg. Gigabyte has some code to
select the country you want, and that didn't work either.
I checked again, and that still doesn't work but isn't a java thing.

Nothing happens when I click on a country name or the GO button. I
always allow session cookies for the host domain, but nothing else
generally.

I am using seamonkey 2.2 on winXP and I have suddenly noticed that some
java script in webpages is not working. If I go to a newegg product page
such as this one,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106289
I cannot switch to different tabs, such as Details, Feedback, etc. If I
mouse over the Details tab, I get,
javascript:Biz.Product.Product2010.switchTab('Details_Tab');
but when I click on the tab, nothing happens. I have noticed this at
some other pages as well. I have not made any configuration changes
lately and I don't think the web page is any different.
Any suggestions?

On the SeaMonkey menu bar, go to [Edit> Preferences]. On the
Preferences window, click the + next to Advanced in the left pane to
expand it. Then select [Advanced> Scripts& Plugins]. Is the checkbox
checked for Browser under "Enable JavaScript for"?
