Strange. That's the latest version and it should work. Maybe deleting
the XUL cache file in your profile folder helps.

Will try that next time around.
What's the filename, and where is it located?

Quoting from
<http://kb.mozillazine.org/Nglayout.debug.disable_xul_fastload>:

"On OS X it’s XUL FastLoad File; on Linux it’s xul.mfasl; and on Windows
it’s XUL.mfl."

All very well, but I can't find it under \Mozilla or in the root of my profile directory. Hence the question, "where it is located?" Or do I have SM set not to create it?

I use a slightly modified version together with the Stylish
add-on (...)

I don't think I should have to install an add-on to fix this.
YMMV.

I didn't say you have to. userChrome.css works just as well, but
making changes to it requires a SM restart for them to take effect.

I've always restarted after modifying userChrome.css, and I've restarted both the program and the computer any number of times for various reasons since creating it, but it hasn't affected the Data Manager line spacing.
