You can upgrade in-place from 2.8 directly to 2.24 without uninstalling. Just "Check
for Updates" from within the application
itself and have at it. Always good to do a backup beforehand, though.
"Version Numbers" always annoy me when 2.24 is greater than 2.80 !-)
