I had my setup for Seamonkey with inbox under bfr...@skybeam.com, followed by local

the listing of inbox subfolders like sent and trash. Now no subfolders and no
"local folders" with lots of saved messages. I have tried to reinstall
seamonkey and checked it's setup, to no avail. I have saved stuff which
I tried to restore, to no avail.

Bonnell, the way you describe your set-up doesn't sound healthy, but anyway, have a look at "Tools->Switch Profiles. Are there more Profiles showing than you would expect?? If so, select each of the other Profiles to see if that's where your missing mail is,

If not, have a look at "Server Setting" for your e-mail account on Edit->Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" screen and note, at the bottom of that screen, the location of your "Local directory:", then completely close SeaMonkey and use your Windows "Find Folders and Files" function to locate your "Inbox". Then use your Windows Explorer to make sure
