Does this bug affect both RSS and Newsgroups??

Yes it does, at least for me as in my Subject line... I reverted back to
the previous version of SM, for now.

RSS is broken, but all of my newsgroups on news.gmane.com (I'm
subscribed to approx 40), and news.eternal-september.org are working
just fine (linux & Windows).
