I had an Extension toolbar working with my Seamonkey (2.12.1) and let my

It was called PrefBar and it worked great.

The little indicator amongst the left side arrows to maximize or
minimize it is gone....

PS - I have the latest SeaMonkey downloaded, but I have not installed it
yet because I see complaints about it...I am waiting.
Try View - Show/Hide. If that doesn't help then do Tools - Add-ons
Manager - Extensions and see if it's still installed but, maybe, disabled.
