I've received a number of emails in just the opposite regard, liking how it was set up, so... to each their own I suppose. Using synaptic to completely uninstall then reinstalling SeaMonkey would have saved you 'hours of work' also disabling and or removing all the addons/extension would have done the same thing. That perhaps is a couple minutes of work at best. But thanks for the feedback, its much appreciated. I'll take them into account in future renditions.
