SeaMonkey operates differently when both eMail newsgroups are both in
the Name pane. On a different PC I use SeaMonkey for newsgroups only
and it operates they way I need it. On this PC I have eMail and
newsgroups and SeaMonkey inhibits me.
If not, I will have to abandon SeaMonkey.
The only way I can think of would be to have separate profiles. You
would have one that had only email accounts set up, and another with
only newsgroup accounts set up. SeaMonkey does make profile management
easy. You can set up a new profile while still running it, and set it
to ask you, when you start up, which profile to use.
