I downloaded Seamonkey today, and was looking at the nightlies and
Aurora for Seamonkey. I found a page which allows a download,
clicked on
a link and it says error 404 pq not available. Is there anyway you
can
get the links sorted please, would like to join the testing Group.
I am
a Trusted Contributor for Firefox, so have some experience with
Mozilla,
but know that FF and Seamonkey are completely different.
Thank you,

John, any chance you remember what link you clicked on that brought
up the 404 error?
John, both those links (which are exactly the same!!) work fine for me!
Hi, um just noticed your not top posting, are you posting below the
previous message? Sorry, not used to newsgroups.
John, in these Tech groups it is usually *requested* that you *bottom
post* i.e. add new additions to the bottom of a post, that way if
somebody new starts reading this thread, first they get your problem,
then they read what was suggested as a fix, then they can read your
reply stating the result, etc, etc.
If you *top post* as you're doing, people have to scroll to the bottom
to find out what the problem is, then scroll up a bit to read the
first suggestions, then scroll up a bit to read your results, etc, etc.
To set *bottom posting* go to Edit->Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings
and select "Composition & Addressing" for the required Account and, in
the "Composition" section, select "Automatically quote the original
message when replying", then, from the drop down list, select "start
my reply below the quote".
*Intermingle posting* as I'm doing now, allows me to reply to one
point, and then, further down, allow me to address another point!
I cant get those urls to work on or out of Seamonkey. I have no problems
getting the Firefox versions, got them all installed. Thats really odd.
John
What do you mean " I cant get those urls to work on or out of
Seamonkey"?? Are you suggesting that you can download the SeaMonkey
file to your computer's hard drive, but then when you run the file to
do the actual install of SeaMonkey, something goes wrong??
