You need to use IE. Also close all other browsers. AS siad they make it
hard to get rid of this...

What I meant with crashing the browser is the Windows telemetry which

and 8.1 users. It can not be disabled but you can uninstall it.
Microsoft makes it harder every month to get rid if it. For Windows 7
they pushed it with a normal security update KB3197868. You need to
deinstall this one and install KB3197867 to get rid of it. If you have a
windows\systen32\diagtrack.dll your are infected by it. Slows down the
PC especially during logon and transmits sensitive data to MS.

So how do I get KB3197867? In Windows Update Catalog I get a brief flash
of the content, then "There is a problem with this site" (or
equivalent). No way to get at the download.
Advice greatly appreciated.
