I should have explained that I did not save the change I made using Word, as I

What’s weird is that I have been using Seamonkey for years with Mac OS. There
has been a gap of about two months as my web host quit. During this time I have
made no changes to the software or the data, and everything else on the Mac is
working fine.

Can you recommend someone who might be able to help if it is a Mac:Seamonkey
related problem?

Thanks!
Ken

I'm sorry, I can't. Mac people (MacPeople?) do follow this forum so I'd expect one of them to notice that this is something where they could help, even if to say "I have MacOS xxx and SM yyy and it works for me". Does the Mac have some simple editor (it would be "vi" under Linux) where you can change a couple of characters and rewrite. That would confirm that you are allowed to write to that file.
