Works here. I just downloaded 196 new messages for my Comcast  POP3 account.

Updated Windows 10 earlier today before testing the Thunderbird 60.7.0 release candidate.

No error msg.  Outlook works, but not SM.  Infinity web page works, but not SM.  This started on monday.  Comcast does not "support" SM nor Firefox.

Don't know about supporting it, but as I said I got my 196 new messages just fine. Will try again today and see what happens.

Windows doesn't do updates on Monday's AFAIK and I waited a few days before updating to the latest patches.

I also use Firefox to access my XFINITY web account without a problem.

Do you use an antivirus program? Try disabling it and see if SeaMonkey works.
