I don't think we are having the same issue...my issue is not about
frequency of updates to RSS feeds...I am having trouble with the Thread
Pane updating when different folders are selected in the Folder Pane.

deleted all MSF files in the IMAP and RSS storage areas and I did
notice a brief respite from this issue but that lasts for only a few
minutes.

I know zilch about RSS, but is this the same problem as Anastasia
Perevozniuk is reporting in the "The problem with RSS in Seamonkey
2.53.1 Beta" thread above?
