What about the rest of you? Thank you for reading and hopefully
answering. :)

I don't chat except using CZ or FB Messenger. I don't spoof Firefox except on
specific cluelessly built sites that don't work right otherwise.

general.useragent.compatMode.firefox;false

I have an extra special one just for Google:
general.useragent.override.google.com;Mozilla/52.0

Most specials are like this:
general.useragent.override.usps.com;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64;
rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Most see what I'm actually using:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.49.5
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.53.1

The option to add Lightning to the UA was recently removed in Thunderbird and we did it too starting with 2.53.2. Beta 1 is now in tmp/release and should show up soon.

We have some discussions about UA compatibility in Bug 1242294.

A new option will allow for a Firefox only string to please some sites. Advertizing Firefox and SeaMonkey will be the default.

We are still not sure if the third option dropping Firefox from the UA is useful. Imho too many sites break without showing Firefox.

Personally I think Firefox plus SeaMonkey show be the default and "Strict Firefox" the only other choice. For sites disliking both a domain override via about:config or a ua switcher would probably be best.

No final decision yet.

Google sites will probably all break soon until we implement Custom Elements and Shadow Dom. Planned but not around the corner.
