I am having problems with adding payments to the name records. Months ago,
I did some test records and had no problems at all, but now my payment
records do not get attached to the name record.
This is what's happened so far. If I try to add a new payment to one of my
test records it works just fine. If I select another record, hit the "add
payment button" it brings me to the payment entry screen, but the name does
not show on the top line. I can enter the payment, but it seems just to be
floating in the payments file, not attached to any name record.
I even tried adding a new test names record and transferring immediately to
the payment screen, but it did not work then either.
I have recovered the payments file and the names file. (Even remembering to
rename everything!)
Does anyone have any solution?
