The Omit button is in the gray tools area on the left side of the
screen. Create a new request, enter the criteria for records you want
to omit, and click the small white Omit box in the tool area. An
"Omit" request has to be the last of the set of requests.
For example you want to find everyone who lives in Nebraska EXCEPT
those named Smith.
- Click Find, or Query. Enter Nebraska in the State field
- create a new request.
- enter Smith in the last name field and click Omit.
