Annetta, You might want to check out Tapestry.com. I believe this database is supposed to work in the way you thought ebase would. My recollection of the way it works is that your data is housed on Tapestry's secure computer and you access it over the internet. It isn't free, but it's not as expensive as a vertical market fundraising database.
