Hi all

Below is an email from Jack Noll who is doing the Atlanta Ebase training this week.  It is a temporary agenda.  If there are subjects you would like covered that are not included, please email me off site at the address below.

"The training will not follow a specific agenda, since I still don't have a
clue as to who is attending or the general skill level of the
attendees.  The lack of such an agenda is not necessarily a bad thing.  I
want to make sure that folks get their biggest questions answered and that
they go away feeling very empowered.  To that end, I'll be as flexible as
possible while still making sure that we cover all of the basics."

I plan to cover the following:

Database basics - files, fields, layouts, value lists, scripts
Relational database concepts - how do the files tie together?
Simple layout design - reports and screens
Calculated fields
Commonly used fields in ebase
Basic script writing
Source codes and their use - tracking a fundraising campaign
Simple searches in ebase
Complex searches in ebase - and/or/omit
Administering the database - backing up, clones, compressed files
Email from ebase
Using the data dictionary
Getting help
Doing a mail merge
Exporting files
Thank you letters
