One of my favorite uses of the notes field - assigning tasks to other staff
members.

There's no "auto-tickler" system in ebase, but you can make a note, then
assign a task related to the note, and assign a staff person to complete the
task. (First you have to have a complete staff list, which you can modify
from the admin/2 screen.) Then, staff can come in and runa report from the
Ouput screen to see tasks assigned to them.

So, for instance, if I work in the development dept. and I call a prospect
who has questions about program that I can't answer, I can make a note in
the prospect's record, and assign a task of calling the prospect with the
answer to a program staffer.

A little clunky in that you have to run the report to get your list of
constituent related to-do's, but cool I think.
