That seems to be the workaorund now for SecureCRT, however my other SSH client has no such option.  PfSense is the only box it doesnt work with, so there is defnitely something going on here.

so check "keyboard interactive" instead of "password".  i use
securecrt and did the same.  works fine now. ???
