Hi,
CARP is now up and running :) It's great!
I noticed though some phenomena that I at least don't understand.

1.) Since pfsense1 which is originally the master was down and pfsense2 (backup)
took its role, both machines shows up in the carp status page as master.

2.) The CARP virtual IP's shows the following in the system log:

"May 2 15:05:49 kernel: arp_rtrequest: bad gateway xxx.xxx.xxx.116 (!AF_LINK)
May 2 15:05:48 kernel:arp_rtrequest: bad gateway 192.168.0.8 (!AF_LINK)
May 2 15:05:47 kernel: arp_rtrequest: bad gateway xxx.xxx.xxx.165 (!AF_LINK)"

(xxx.xxx.xxx.165 is the virtual IP for WAN1 and xxx.xxx.xxx.116 is for WAN2.
WAN1 network is xxx.xxx.xxx.160/29 and WAN2 network is xxx.xxx.xxx.112/29
both linking to the same ISP)

3.) Does anybody set up successfully a carp cluster with dual WAN load
balancing?

Best regards

Imre
