I was once given a command (or series of commands really) that fetched, unpacked, and installed (or coppied files anyway) that let me do an update from 1.0.1 to 1.2 RC4, but I've misplaced it. Could someone provide that again? As best I recall, the output of fetch was piped into tar and the output of that was directed at /, but I'm not 100% sure and can't afford to do this wrong :-)
