I use Asterisk behind pfSense, but do not have advanced outbound NAT enabled. I have about firewall rules to permit 5060 and 10000-20000 from my SIP trunk provider, and then do port forwarding on those ports to the Asterisk box. I don't permit any other SIP connections unless it's through a tunnel.
I had one-way audio at first, but after I fixed /etc/asterisk/sip.conf with my external IP, it worked. externip=x.x.x.x On Mon, Mar 16, 2009 at 8:57 PM, Chris Buechler <c...@pfsense.org> wrote: > On Mon, Mar 16, 2009 at 7:52 PM, Scott Ullrich <sullr...@gmail.com> wrote: >> >> Static port needs to be disabled > > Correct, but that's a typo - needs to be enabled. > http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Static_Port > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: support-unsubscr...@pfsense.com > For additional commands, e-mail: support-h...@pfsense.com > > Commercial support available - https://portal.pfsense.org > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: support-unsubscr...@pfsense.com For additional commands, e-mail: support-h...@pfsense.com Commercial support available - https://portal.pfsense.org
