You have to be careful with USB<-->Serial adapters. Many will actually close 
communications after a period of time due to USB timeout or some other <can't 
think of the name right now> issue with timing and the bus. If your use is some 
quick console work, the ones you show should work well. But, if you ever intend 
on leaving a port open for an extended amount of time, you may wish to look for 
the ones made by Tripp Lite. I've been using these with 100% success for some 
time now:

My initial testing/finding of the USB/Serial issues came from my usage of an 
RS232 connected GPS receiver that would stop working after 20 minutes. :-/
