Hi, I use Rancid (http://www.shrubbery.net/rancid/) to keep track of changes to my firewalls.
To make Rancid work with web based tools, I wrote a script for Rancid that accesses the web interface's diag_backup.php. That worked fine wth 1.2.x but no longer works with 2.0, (login issue). I'd actually prefer however to access information in the system from the CLI. This would actually allow me to gather other information like states per host for instance, on an automated basis. Is there a way to disable the menu when SSHing to the firewall? I'm looking for just a shell.
