I got my hands on a used Ampro ReadyBoard RB800 - Celeron 800Mhz, 1g
ram, 80g hd in a small footprint case, almost all I/O except PS2 mouse(4
USB, 2 lan, vga, 2 serial ports, sound, Compact Flash, PS2 kbrd). It
came with WinXP loaded on the HD.

I downloaded the 8/7/10 snapshot of pfSense Beta4 cdrom LiveCD(i386).
Can only boot using SafeMode. Normal and no ACPI (options 1&2) lockup
the machine during the boot process.

I tried installing pfSense from safe mode cd rom boot and it fails to
load from the HD. Get the following on the screen:

F1 pfSense

F6 PXE
boot: F1
(spinner starts and immediately locks)

Unit is locked at this point.

I don't know FreeBSD that well to try to force pfSense to boot as
SafeMode. I did go into the BIOS and turn off ACPI, no change.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
