Hi List, I have not had any direct dealing with Virgin in the UK so have no idea how to answer this question I got from a Friend. He has just got Virgin Install @ his place and was surprised that the connection was provided over Coax, The question was simple... "Can he connect this Coax Cable Direct into a pfSense Box, rather than having to do NAT(Virgin Box)-2-NAT(pfSense Box)-2-LAN ?" Like i said, I have only ever used old fashioned BT Phone Socket Type ADSL/Broadband connections so have not directly needed to play with the Cable type connections that Virgin offer...
