******* Working on device /dev/ufs/pfsense0 ******* parameters extracted from in-core disklabel are: cylinders=3830 heads=16 sectors/track=63 (1008 blks/cyl)
Hi, I just installed the embedded pfsense 1.2.3 - 4g image onto an 8G Sandisk Ultra CF card for my new Soekris 5501-70. I installed the image to the CF card using dd in Linux with 16k block size. It fired right up and I was able to configure it over the serial port. I would like to resize the slice and growfs if possible. I would have installed the 8g image if there was one... I have done this in Linux many times. Is this possible with the embedded version of pfsense? I haven't done much configuration on the box so I could image the CF card again if needed. fdisk seems to have problems displaying the partition information. Output from fdisk below Figures below won't work with BIOS for partitions not in cyl 1 parameters to be used for BIOS calculations are: cylinders=3830 heads=16 sectors/track=63 (1008 blks/cyl) fdisk: invalid fdisk partition table found Media sector size is 512 Warning: BIOS sector numbering starts with sector 1 Information from DOS bootblock is: The data for partition 1 is: sysid 165 (0xa5),(FreeBSD/NetBSD/386BSD) start 63, size 3860577 (1885 Meg), flag 80 (active) beg: cyl 0/ head 1/ sector 1; end: cyl 757/ head 15/ sector 63 Thanks, -- Mark Street, D.C., RHCE Chief Technology Officer Alliance Medical Center (707) 433-5494
