Edit the settings for that account and set a "local alias" to what you
want to see.

The issue comes with the IM window. When a buddy sends me a message,
only his name appears and the message( which is the way I want it)
However, when I send the message, there appears this one:

<mailto:%e2%80%[email protected]/pidgin_a218c6d3_49D882B50CD4E>*:”
*then my message appears.
Please help.
