Whilst Microsoft may have changed something recently, that has broken it this time, you shouldn't be using Pidgin to access MSN for any mission critical purpose as it has always been against Microsoft's terms of service to access it using Pidgin. For many months now, any use of MSN, even with the official client, is at your own risk as support was withdrawn in favour of Skype, and, in principle, Microsoft could pull the plug finally without any warning.
yesterday. We are not experiencing any other internet issues and we have not made any changes to our routers. We just see “Available-connecting” at the bottom of our Buddy list window. Is there an issue with MSN accounts at this time?
