Hello to all, I'm glad to announce the recent launch of an online sound library dedicated to surround ambiences, exclusively.
Most of them have been made in ambisonic (Soundfield ST350 and SPS200), but more recently in double-M/S, IRT, MMAD, and custom made 5.0 arrays (no restriction here as long as the recording combo is a "true" surround system). http://www.surround-library.com I'd be glad to hear from specialists like you what you think concerning the interface, prices, ergonomy, and the such. We're also looking for sound engineers worldwide (we're actually only 6 sound recorders based in France) to offer a more varied experience to sound editors and mixers. As you'll see on the website, each sound is sourced, and has all technical informations. The human aspect of sound is very important for us. For your information, we're only using opensource softwares for the website (Magento, WP-Audioplayer, linux-based server, etc.). Let me know what you think of all that, even if negative -- Dorian Darcourt Mixage & Montage son 06.13.26.51.56 _______________________________________________ Sursound mailing list Sursound@music.vt.edu https://mail.music.vt.edu/mailman/listinfo/sursound
