How much of it is digitized? I would be willing to host any digital material provided that the copyright situation is clear. I could also propose to the VDT to designate some webspace. If the legal heirs are willing to release this under some reasonably open license (CC-BY?), it might be a great resource. If digitizing is required, I know people who could do it, but then the question is who's going to dig through the archives and ship the stuff?
