Many (most?) eurorack modules are using non-analog components. Eurorack is not really the vinyl of modular synthesis. In the case of this Planar2 module, digipots chips could used, or the whole thing could be digital, except for the analog pots of the joystick (for some physically induced control signals). A quick search for images of "intellijel planar2" reveals its STM32 Arm computer.
