Hi All! Just to let you know, with the ZYLIA ZM-1 you are able to obtain similar results with 3rd order Ambisonics and at much lower cost. You just require the ZM-1 microphone and the ZYLIA Ambisonics Converter with a binaural decoder and then you will be able to assign the rotation and elevation of the microphone to the head-tracker using OSC in your DAW.
Even though the Eigenmic is a 4th Ambisonics Order microphone, it is proven that the spatial resolution is not significantly improved from the 3rd to 4th Ambisonics orders.
