I've been rather active in following commissioning of the James Webb Space telescope, in its optical near infrared and middle infrared wavelenghts.

Why don't we do everything alike in audio? In particular, why don't we do audio range coronagraphy, in order to separate the Loud from the Feeble? Also, why don't we do physical, spatial modulation even on the projection side, backwards? Because the huge constrast *does* go both ways.
