The SPC mic does look very interesting, but the fact you have to carry a computer around to record it is not so handy as I’m looking to be more mobile, not less! Often the recordings I make end up in stereo anyway - but I like the flexibillity in post-production and the fact that it can be “sursound”. Maybe I’ll try and hire or borrow the mics somewhere to do an A-B-C test!
