I'd be worried about all the protocol needed to set up a
PPP connection. Then again, I suppose you could use a
shell account.
You know, after I wrote that little piece, I got to
thinking that it might actually be possible. <g> I haven't
kept up with what's happening in the calculator world as I
already have a couple of 4 bangers and an ancient
Commodore scientific calculator which is programmable but
mostly just gets used for my meager trig needs for my
electronics stuff. BUT. Don't some of the newer ones have
an interface for plugging into a computer so that you can
transfer data? If so there might be a slim possibility
that you got some kind of usable interface there. Also, it
looks like the modern ones which do curves and such, might
have quite a lot of memory.
