This is why I think there should be more than one type of User
interface.  Not all users have the same needs.
   A GUI would be fine for sighted newbies, or even eomone who is
hearing impaired.  But for someone with vision problems, it's a
problem.
   I think software designers, and web designers should be made more
aware of the need for text alternatives to their graphical
interfaces. I've had trouble even gettign friends to put in an "alt"
text tag into web page images.  People are all for making building
accessable, but they're behind on computers.
