I would say 'suck it and see'. It seems drive and chipset dependant. When
I add an old Conner 240Mb device (mode 0 only I think) to the Maxtor 10.1Gb
already in this box, everything slows down a lot. Which is why my NetWare
server is vastly below spec at the moment :(
