Netscape 4.6 has the opposite problem, as far as I can see!
I installed netscape on my w95 box on my lan and when i try to send
an email from there is just keeps saying something about not
providing a username. When given my ISP username and password, it
just goes into a loop, repeatedly asking for them. I have sent email
from arachne and netscape 3 (linux) with this server...
mail.toowoomba.hotkey.net.au which is now aliased to
smtp.iprimus.com.au. There aren't any problems with other browsers.
I use this netscape to get email from a subdimension.com email
account, netscape 3 (linux) for my university email account and
arachne for my normal email.
Anyone have any solutions? I might get a magazine with netscape 4.7
on the cover CD one day...
PS: I might have said I work for Domino's Pizza now, and I've been
working quite a bit. It's always good to have a little money around,
especially when the Government reduces one's allowance from
$120/fortnight to $85/fortnight ... Would have reduced even without
getting this job.
