I have two boxes configured for PPP Handshaking, One is in a Talk mode the other
is in a Listen mode. I have established a Talk-Listen Handshake, however,
sometimes the handshake takes a few seconds to establish or doesn't establish a
handshake at all. I need to know the following: How the handshaking mode is
established, what PPP protocols are used in establishing the handshake (LCP,
IPCP) and in what order these packets are sent in order to establish a
Talk-Listen Handshake as well as any additional information regarding PPP
Handshaking. I would like to know if anyone has had a similar problems
establishing a PPP handshake and what they have done to fix the problem. I also
would like to know if anyone knows any specific online references or books
regarding PPP Handshaking or the Troubleshooting of PPP Handshaking. My email
address is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
