hi all:
well at ong last i got someone oer here with eyes who could look
at what my bios really says.
a actually, one of the chapters you missed, was my running a
program that is supposed to capture the bios data and save it to
a text file for review. while i'm sure this is a good program,
it seems to have mis reported some of my data.
below is the hard disk utility report for my drive, and what i
hope is the mother board information. it has been suggested that
a bios upgrade would be the answer, and such are availeable from
american megatrends site. if you can give them the board maker
that is.
also, as it does at least look as if the bios sees my 2 g hard
drive, would i still use an overlay program so as to insure that
all of the drive can be used? if so, where can i find that
utility?
or, am i better off just partitioning the drive? i will say
that my sighted friend knew next to noghing about computers, so
just wrote down what she saw.
opinions anyone?
thanks,
karen l
