On OpenDOS/DR-DOS, is with MS-DOS, you can hit F5 during the start of the
boot (when the "Starting <whatever> DOS..." message appears) to bypass the
configuration files if that's any help.

I'd REM out these lines in CONFIG.SYS:

DEVICEHIGH=C:\utilitie\DIAMOND\CDSETUP.SYS /T:I /P:170 /I:15
DEVICEHIGH=C:\utilitie\DIAMOND\TOSHIBA.SYS /D:DMSCD01

And then REM out this one in AUTOEXEC.BAT:

C:\utilitie\DIAMOND\MSCDEX.EXE /D:DMSCD01 /M:12

That shouldn't cause any problems. For what it's worth, DR-DOS's EMM386 is
fairly unstable if my memories of the old opendos list on rim.caldera.com
serves; it'd trip up quite frequently where the MS one wouldn't. I remember
it was somewhat picky as to load order on one of my client's machines; if
the Iomega GUEST driver was loaded anywhere but right at the end of
AUTOEXEC.BAT, EMM386 would throw an exception and crash the PC.
