I have seen Opera 7.5 running on Xandros. I'm not making a comment on Opera's GUI design or lack of same, mail handling, etc. Rather I'm pointing to the fact your not stuck with the older Netscape 4.7 application code which I remember being introduced circa 1996 or 1997 ...
